What the EU needs to do to remain competitive

The UK Minister for Europe, David Lidington, on 17 June 2011, welcomed the publication of the report, 'Competitiveness: What the EU needs to do', by Business for new Europe, an independent coalition of UK business leaders. The publication identifies priorities for securing economic growth in the EU: completing the single market, supporting innovation, reducing the burdens of regulation and opening Europe for trade.
