Why is everyone so obsessed with Sweden?

From education and immigration to taxation, there seems to be no end to the examples Sweden offers the rest of the world. Simultaneously embodying social democracy and vigorously pro-market policies, it's praised both for being a socialist utopia and for being nothing of the sort.
