Wilders cleared of inciting Muslim hatred

A Dutch court acquitted far-right politician Geert Wilders on charges of inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims on the 23 June 2011, ending a three-year trial that had become a focal point of European tensions over Islam and freedom of conscience.
