Council conclusions on implementing the EU global strategy in the area of security and defence

The European Union's foreign and defence ministers held a joint session on 14 November 2016 to discuss the implementation plan on security and defence, presented by the High Representative on Foreign Policy at the meeting.

The conclusions on the development of the EU's security and defence policy were built in the context of the EU Global Strategy. They set out the level of ambition as well as concrete actions.
