10 November

+ Discussion on the development and prospects in view of the 11th ministerial conference of the World Trade Organization (WTO);

+ Information on the negotiations for trade agreement with Mexico and Mercosur;

+ Other business: Report on the implementation of free trade agreements; Discussion on the preparations for a free trade agreement with Japan and on the implementation of so-sustainable development chapters in EU trade agreements.

13 November

+ Review of issues on the international agenda;

+ Discussion on the relations between Africa and the European Union ahead of the 5th Summit between the EU and the African Union;

+ Exchange of views on the work developed regarding EU strategic communications;

+ Exchange of views on security and defence, in the context of the implementation of the EU Global Strategy, followed by the adoption of conclusions.

+ Discussion on cooperation between NATO and the European Union;

In the margins of the Council, signing of a notification letter by those member states wishing to join the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO).
