Gorbachev turns 80, slams Putin for rolling back democracy

EurActiv reports that former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev, in comments published on his 80th birthday celebrated on the 2 March 2011, accused Russia's leaders of rolling back democracy and advised Vladimir Putin not to run for presidential office in 2012.
