Rajoy says 2012 deficit came in below seven percent of GDP

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy sought to revive the Spanish public’s faltering faith in his leadership with a landmark State of the Nation speech on the 19 February 2013 that promised a 'second wave' of reforms to stimulate the moribund economy and measures aimed at calming widespread anger with the recent string of corruption scandals swirling around his party.
