US and Czechs sign missile defence deal

The US and the Czech Republic signed an agreement on the 8 Jyly 2008 to build a radar base in the former Soviet bloc country as part of a planned extension of the US missile defence shield to central Europe.

Russia's foreign ministry said it would be forced to react with military means if the agreement was ratified.
