Press Release: Parliament gives green light to visa-free travel for Moldovan citizens

	On the 27 February 2014, the European Parliament approved a draft law, and already informally agreed with the Council, standing that Moldovan citizens will soon be able to travel to the EU's border-free Schengen area without a visa. Moldova is the first Eastern Partnership country to meet all the requirements for visa-free travel laid down in the Visa Liberalisation Action Plan.
