Meeting: Foreign Affairs Council, 15 February 2016

A meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council took place on 15 February 2016, in Brussels. The agenda included the following topics:

+ Discussion and adoption of conclusions regarding Belarus and the situation in Moldova;

+ Discussion regarding the situation in Syria and how the European Union can best support UN led efforts for a peace process;

+ Discussion and adoption of conclusions on climate diplomacy, following the global agreement on climate change reached in Paris in 2015.

Over lunch, foreign ministers exchanged views with Lebanon's counterpart.
