Summary: This is the 10th enhanced surveillance report on Greece monitoring the commitments made by the Greek government at the Eurogroup of 22 June 2018. Further information: The Report was adopted by the European Commission as part of the Spring Package of the 2021 European Semester. It concludes that, despite the challenging circumstances caused by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Greece took the necessary actions to achieve its specific commitments. The Eurogroup meeting on 17 June 2021 held an exchange of views n this report, and welcomed the assessment conducted by the institutions that the country met the conditions necessary for the release of a new tranche of policy-contingent debt measures. The Eurogroup issued a statement containing the technical details. |
