Communication published by the European Commission on 28 September 2022, focusing on the assessment of distributional impact of Member States' reforms.

Further information:

This Communication provides guidance for Member States on how best to conduct distributional impact assessments on the income of different socio-economic groups and incorporate them into their policymaking processes. It sets out a process for further developing existing methodologies together with the Member States, and presents the support the European Commission can make available to the Member States.

The Communication was adopted by the Commission on 28 September 2022 alongside a draft Council Recommendation on adequate minimum income.
