Council Decision (EU) 2021/929 on the regulation of contacts between the General Secretariat of the Council and interest representatives

Decision (EU) 2021/929 - adopted by the Council of the European Union on 6 May 2021 - establishing the norms on the registration in the transparency register of interest representatives.

The Council of the European Union agreed with the other main EU institutions the establishment of a mandatory Transparency Register. It defines the scope of the activities carried out by interest representatives which are subject to registration, as well as the conditions for the eligibility and registration of interest representatives in the transparency register.

This Decision establishes the cases in which those representatives are required to register as a precondition to conduct certain activities with the General Secretariat of the Council.
