This is the 10th enhanced surveillance report on Greece monitoring the commitments made by the Greek government at the Eurogroup of 22 June 2018.
The Report was adopted by the European Commission as part of the Spring Package of the 2021 European Semester. It concludes that, despite the challenging circumstances caused by the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, Greece took the necessary actions to achieve its specific commitments.
The Eurogroup meeting on 17 June 2021 held an exchange of views n this report, and welcomed the assessment conducted by the institutions that the country met the conditions necessary for the release of a new tranche of policy-contingent debt measures. The Eurogroup issued a statement containing the technical details.
