EU-Albania Stabilisation and Association Council, 1 March 2021

Summary:

The eleventh (11th) Stabilisation and Association Council between European Union (EU) and Albania was held on 1 March 2021.

Further information:

Both sides discussed bilateral relations in the framework of the Stabilisation and Association Process and focused on pre-accession strategy (particularly in light of the criteria for EU membership). The participants also reviewed the state of play of implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA).

There was also an exchange of views on developments in the Western Balkans and on other international issues of common interest.
