Book abstract:

This is the second of two volumes and follows on from the first that examined the effects that European integration is having on European labour relations. This volume examines the topic in specific countries through 12 case studies. As with the first volume the case studies are contributed by academics from a range of European universities.

The 12 case studies are of the following countries: France, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden Greece, the Czech Republic and Poland, The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Japan, and The United States. The case studies of Japan and the United States are included for comparative reasons as the two largest economies in the world. The book concludes with an examination of the future for European labour relations. The volume also includes a detailed bibliography.

The book is aimed at students and academics of business administration, economics, sociology, labour law and organisational psychology.
