The survey showws citizens' support for membership in the European Union (EU) settling on a high level. Nearly six in ten Europeans stated their support to their country's EU membership. In addition, the 2019 European elections appeared to have contributed positively to the increased level of satisfaction with the way democracy works in the European Union. Citizens specifically argue for a stronger European Parliament, while climate change became priority issue number one for a majority of Europeans.
