Spanish law raises concerns of EU-level ‘Google Tax’

The Spanish parliament’s congress approved a new law called canon AEDE in the end of July 2014 which allowed publishers to seek remuneration from news aggregators for linking to their content.

Similar laws had already passed in Germany and Belgium. The article raised the question whether the European Union would do the same.
