Economic and Financial Affairs Council, 21 February 2017

A meeting of the Economic and Financial Affairs Council was held on 21 February 2017. The agenda includes the following topics:

+ Adoption of the Council's position on a proposal concerning hybrid mismatches with third countries in the context of the corporate tax reform;

+ Decision on the mandate to be given to the Economic and Financial Committee to finalise the EU's preparations for the G20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors;

+ Adoption of a recommendation on the discharge for the implementation of the EU's general budget for 2015;

+ Adoption of guidelines for the 2018 EU budget;

+ Briefing on the progress regarding the creation of a list of non-cooperative third-country jurisdictions in taxation matters.
