Joint Communiqué on meeting of the Libya Quartet

Further information:

The Quartet assessed developments in Libya since the meeting on 18 March 2017 and planned further coordination in the efforts undertaken by its member to advance the political process and assist the country in its democratic transition.

Background information:

The Libya Quartet is composed by the European Union (EU), the African Union (AU), the League of Arab States (LAS) and the United Nations (UN).

A meeting of the Libya Quarter was held on 23 May 2017.
