Emissions revelation adds €2bn risk for VW

German car maker Volkswagen reported on the 3 November 2015 that an internal investigation in the wake of its pollution cheating revelations had found that 800,000 more vehicles showed 'inconsistencies' related to carbon emissions (Co2).

On the 23 November 2015 the new VW CEO, Matthias Müller, said that the company would be able to deal with the financial and technical efforts and expenditures needed to resolve the company's diesel emissions scandal.VW had found technical solutions for more than 90% of the vehicles affected in Europe.
